The world of music in Colombia is in mourning, after it became known that this Tuesday, July 26, the popular music singer, Darío Gómez, died at night in the city of Medellin, in the clinic of the Americas, where he was hospitalized for some health problems.
The information was released through the doctors of the clinic in the city of Medellin, who treated the “king of spite” in his last minutes of life. As announced by the Clinic of the Americas, the Colombian singer entered the facilities of the emergency unit without vital signs.

Through a statementthe health entity confirmed the death of the “king of spite”, who was revived on several occasions, but was unsuccessfulcausing Colombia to fire some copies in the music of spite.
“Clínica Las Américas, it is allowed to inform that today, July 26, 2022, Mr. Darío de Jesús Gómez Zapata entered the emergency service in a state of unconsciousness, after having suffered a sudden collapse in his home. The patient was admitted without vital signs and was taken to the resuscitation room, where advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers were performed without success,” the clinic added in the statement.

Darío Gómez was born in San Jerónimo, Antioquia. He was 71 years old and the success for which he is most remembered is the song “No one is eternal in the world.”which made him shine internationally, as it was one of the most famous hits in popular music in Colombia.
